Hey Jenna!
WHY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
THIS is why...
I've had a camera in my hands for more than 20 years, I didn't start as a boudoir photographer until 2018, and I fell in love with it. I've always loved shooting but was on the verge of burning out. I had lost my passion for doing what I loved. I'd been working with families, kids, newborns, and whatever came my way. Doing whatever it took to pay the bills, but I wasn't happy. That all changed on the day of my first boudoir shoot.
That morning as I prepared the studio, I was completely unaware that my life was about to change. We began the session, and I watched my client transform from an exhausted woman lacking confidence to a mighty phoenix. As I showed her the images from the back of the camera, her shoulders began to pull back, her eyes lit up, and she uttered, "That can't be me." I was hooked. I never knew a photoshoot could be so life-changing.
The phrases "That can't be me," "I never knew I could look like that," and "You have no idea what this has done for me" are phrases I hear every single shoot, and it NEVER gets old. I've even had clients cry as they view their images. These tears stem from us letting our insecurities rule how we see ourselves. We listen to what society says is beautiful, and if we don't fit that description, we convince ourselves that we aren't attractive or worthy.
Well, honey, I'm here to tell you that you ARE beautiful, worthy, and you ARE enough.
Watching these transformations from "feeling frumpy" to strutting out of my studio saying, "I'm FUCKING HOTT" (yes, that happened) is what I live for. Well, that and my wonderful husband of 14 years and our three amazing kids.
As far as my resume goes...
I've been specializing in boudoir photography for the last five years. I've trained in Chicago with a Nikon Ambassador and international boudoir photographer. I'm currently working with my mentor's mentor. They are both badass women and phenomenal international photographers. I challenge myself every day to be a better photographer. I'm constantly updating the studio and my gear to stay on top of my game. I will never stop pushing myself.

Hey Hannah!
WHY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
I started as a client...
I’ve always been deeply passionate about uplifting other women. This started for me at a young age when I would invite my girlfriends over and cut their hair. I would give my besties a fresh chop, (at age 12) slap some lipstick on them, and say something along the lines of “yass queen.” I quickly became the family hairdresser. My 2 younger sisters, my mom, and Bratz dolls were my canvas of choice. I just knew that I would grow up and become a celebrity hairstylist one day. I did all of the steps to make this dream a reality.
I moved high schools just so I could take cosmetology courses, worked as a receptionist at a local salon, then moved to Florida after high school to attend a cosmetology institute. I came back to Dothan and worked as a hair and makeup artist before traveling full time with my husband for his job. I couldn’t give up my passion completely though, so I traveled home every 6 weeks to beautify my regular clients, and also led a Facebook group giving makeup tips and tutorials. Then I took a step back for a couple years. Why? Because something perfect happened- I became a mother to the most precious little girl, Sadie Brynn Dudley. She became my entire world, and I became a stay at home mom. I give my all to motherhood, but now it’s time to teach my daughter the importance of pursuing your passions and prioritizing yourself.
I remember the overwhelming emotions that I felt when I first walked into Jenna’s studio. I’ve been where you are. I remember thinking “Am I even ‘beautiful enough’ to do this?” I sat in the chair very quietly as I got my hair and makeup done. Then something beautiful happened. Jenna played WAP by Cardi B. I turned to the mirror, saw that my hair and makeup looked BOMB, channeled my bad bitch energy, and BOOM, somebody hand me the lace panties STAT!! I fell in love with this stunning, confident version of myself that Jenna captured. The confidence that I felt that day is why I am honored to be a detail of your special day. I can’t wait to witness you transform and feel that way too. So, 12 year old Hannah was almost right. She didn’t become a celebrity stylist, but she became a hair and makeup stylist to REAL women- and that is even more exciting.
