From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, this experience is centered around you, what makes you comfortable, and what helps you feel confident. We start with hair and makeup, where you’ll spend about two hours being completely pampered by my insanely talented makeup artist. This time is intentional. It gives you a chance to relax, settle in, laugh a little, and get to know me before the camera ever comes out. By the time we start shooting, it already feels familiar instead of intimidating.
 

Once hair and makeup is finished, we’ll go through your outfits together and decide which pieces work best with each set. I always like to start with the outfit that covers the most so you can ease into the experience instead of jumping in full throttle. As the session goes on, your comfort level grows, your confidence builds, and it shows more and more in the images. I’ll show you the back of the camera throughout the shoot so you can see exactly what I see, and that moment alone often helps things click. You start to realize how stunning you actually look, which makes it easier to relax and lean into the experience even more.
 

After the session, we’ll say our goodbyes for now, and about two weeks later you’ll come back for your image reveal. At your reveal, you’ll watch a slideshow set to music and then I’ll hand you my computer so you can select your favorite images. What happens next depends on the session you booked. If your session includes an album, this is where you’ll choose the images that will be printed inside it. If you booked the Freedom Session, this is when you’ll decide which products you want to go with. There is never any pressure to purchase more than you’re comfortable with. I’ve always said I would probably make more money if I hired someone else to handle this part, because I truly hate pushy sales and I refuse to make anyone feel forced or uncomfortable.

If you choose an album, it typically arrives in about four weeks since they are handcrafted overseas. Digital images are delivered the same day.
